Violin Lessons

Each child is unique and therefore each of my lessons are tailored to suit their needs. I have been using various methodologies to ensure that my students will know their violin well.

 I encourage parents to attend their child’s first few lessons in order to assist them with their musical journey. To help facilitate this, I provide step-by-step instruction that leads to a feeling of achievement and success. Upon request, I will also provide a short 5 – 7 minute video of the lesson, which can be used to review the important concepts that we covered during their daily practice. I also encourage the use of online music games to help reinforce their theory skills, which helps us to save valuable lesson time for instrument specific instruction.

Students will have the opportunity to play with piano accompaniment, which is incorporated into their violin lessons as an additional musical benefit.

I feel confident in my abilities to offer RCM examination preparation for my most advanced students and feel just as comfortable for those who simply want to learn the violin for fun.
